Study Tips and Resources
Throughout this portfolio/ course/ Major outline and Guide I have chosen to include different mediums for the case studies presented. Different forms of communication provide different pros and cons. Using this to your advantage will help you find what works best for you, be adaptable and organize thoughts and complex concepts. Writing, Making a video explanation, Creating a PowerPoint presentation all require different processes.
Specific Study Techniques, Tricks, and Protocols
Study frequency-
Your brain needs breaks and reminders
If you need to cram in two days have a high frequency in those days but break them up into time periods you can maintain intent 45min-1 hour 30 min
If the goal is long term retention the frequency can reduce over time. Everyday for week
Twice a week for two weeks
Once a week for a month
Studying with friends may be fun but isn’t for every situation. Think about if what you need to accomplish that day require deep focus to learn something knew, or if you need to test whether you have a strong understanding of something. If you need practice, using the Feynman Technique can be a great opportunity to practice active recall and gauge where you are at. In that situation studying with friends is probably a good idea. If you are starting something uncharted and text or reading heavy, I would recommend following as many of the as you can
