Each chapter will be comprised of an introduction of the major that is adapted, what you will need to be successful and an example of a class with a case study attached.
The goal of this project is to further the readers understanding of self education, their ability to navigate academics, and to be effective communicators of what they learned.
In that vain this will be much less concise than would be recommended but I will provide many skim friendly mediums like the poster to improve UX.
Introduction and Defense Overview
This prolixly titled major is meant to prepare an individual for a life of learning. While supplementing ways to apply, share and convince for a life of career success. You can’t eat knowledge.
The curriculum is challenging not only in the material, but requires an ability to increase the students efficiency in adapting to new environments. The student develops foundational understanding of how to do so in a researched and accurate manner.
“Apply theoretical knowledge acquired in the classroom to practical experiences” but taking it a step further so that a student can maintain the level of understanding they have even after they have been years out of the classroom. Learning this adaptability and self-sufficiency will give students an exponential edge as the key to deeper understanding is to apply and to research in tandem and in perpetuity.
The synthesis of these disciplines allows for more effective problem solving in each discipline (Exercise Physiology/ Business Management/ Legal Entrepreneurship). These disciplines are highly practical and provide real world job skills. When treated interdisciplinarily they allow a creative and analytical thinker the opportunity to see patterns and solve or interpret larger problems in the world that can not be seen by someone who graduated with a degree from one of these fields. Each discipline solves a limitation present in another.
In a business degree there is almost no focus on interpreting data or evidence (they say there is but it is not necessary to do well so we can assume many don’t) yet so much is presented in the business world. Almost no focus is placed on any legal requirements that affect businesses and or workers.
Exercise Physiology has almost no focus on the ability to direct a team or provide convincing recommendations in a way that will inspire or drive adherence.
Legal studies are often limited in marketing and many other business practices. Many services have risen to the markets to fill these gaps in each field, this would provide a unique background for filling this market.
Even in higher level positions, the combination of majors will provide an edge because whether you climb the corporate ladder or expand and scale your own business having a conceptual and practical understanding of all the components vastly improves leadership and management capabilities. This synthesis also inherently infuses incredible risk management. In all of these fields risks are necessary, but being informed makes decision making less a flip of a coin and a Frequentist experiences of choices but more using a Bayesian method of statistics because you are making informed decisions based on a more complete understanding of all the variables.
I took some artistic liberties with with Bayesian vs frequentist*
